My 8th entry to Inktober 2017. The Communications Team had a rough landing. Their escape pods prevented them from suffering severe injuries but most were knocked unconscious, having left without their helmets. It couldn't be helped as they had to rush to the nearest evacuation facility.

One of them grabbed a Portable Communications and Surveillance Relay. It's a bit damaged but he managed to get it working. It has transmitted their location to a prototype unit and one of the teams at the crash sites, but unable to speak to them, he had to use Morse Code. The relay is also able to provide early warning should any unidentified signatures be detected within its range.

This little cadet had to improvise a shelter and a stretcher to carry the other Space Penguins and better tend to their injuries. A couple of twisted ankles and wings, some concussions, hurt "Popotins" (their precious tails) and some empty bellies. Nothing too hard to treat with basic first aid training and some tuna!
