17th entry to Inktober 2017. Cadette Black Beak and Captain Swiftbreeze addressed the other Seagull ship captains to negotiate the terms of their surrender. They had their leader and their flagship, and, without mention, they had tapped into their systems.

Suddenly, using the distraction, the one with the implants leap up and clawed his way out. The captain, being battle hardened, leap gracefully to the side, taking only a wound to his flipper, but his officer didn’t manage to avoid the attack. The vicious Seagull clawed his face and left him on the cold floor, curled in pain.

The runaway yelled “fight to the end, for a greater galaxy!”. The other Seagulls echoed the battlecry. The captain had to let the Seagull go, to activate the ships defenses and look after his fellow wounded penguin. All hopes for a peaceful resolution were gone and Captain Swiftbreeze prepared to open suppressive fire on the other Seagull ships.
