Entry 26 to Inktober 2017. Moon Stargazer tries to sneak past the small pack of beasts that had attacked them to find food & a vantage point to signal for help. She stepped on a frog-like creature's tail and its cry of pain woke the beasts. She had never ran so fast in her life.

Using her pole, she vaulted over a fissure where some of the beasts fell. She had to put more distance between them & reached into her backpack to apply the camouflage salve on the run. Something she should have done before departing the cave... Rookie mistake...
