The engravings on the chestplate are Kælosia, The Burner of Kingdoms fighting a demon lord. On the sides, the Last Charge of the Silver Knights. Next to that, The Dragon's Last Breath. The runes on the edge are my signature for this piece in Futhark :)

Dragon fire in the Tomahawks too.

The feathers are wing and tail feathers of a Peregrine Falcon (shed of course! They wouldn't kill those little cutie raptors!).

Dragon's Rest

A Knight and a Ranger. My second attempt to create a more realistic piece. I based their armor design on Draconic imagery, a mixture of Celtic, Viking and Native American themes (i.e. the dragon tomahawks). I started the scenery based on Lake Tahoe, then it changed into a coastal city. I used Saint Malo and Malcesine as references for the city. I'm having trouble separating "character art" from "environment art". I keep trying to do both in the same piece. The dragon ornament on the knight's helm is also a project I will work on in the future, it's a piece to remember a great dragon that inspired this kingdom's culture. The engravings / enamel / filigree on the knight's armor depict scenes from the kingdom's history. The emboss on the leather is also in honor to the same dragon. I set it at around 15 minutes before or after Sunset / Sunrise.
