Entry 21 to Inktober 2017. Based the dino-mom's design on Todd Lockwood's dragons #SenpaiWillNoticeMeOneDay. The Space Penguins ran into a Seagull group harder to handle than expected. The Seagulls closed in on their crab tanks, taking Monosaur by the tail who screamed out loudly in pain.

Suddenly, a loud roar echoed over the valley and out with the new day’s light, a giant version of Monosaur came charging from the forest, tearing down the crab tanks as if they were nuts in a cracker. A few bites later, pieces of shattered metal and chewed feathers were scattered around. A mother was reunited with her lost hatchling, but not without injury. Monosaur ran to his mother and seemed to calm her down.

The Space Penguins were shocked, but spared from the mother’s fury by Monosaur’s intervention, set themselves to tend to her wounds, find food and tie up the few remaining seagulls...
