Entry 22 to Inktober 2017. The Space Penguins and their new friends take the captives along as they search for food. Unknowingly, the Seagulls picked up blood stained cloth used by the Penguins to heal the mother’s wounds and have been leaving a trail to attract predators.

A pack of hungry beasts picked up the scent and ambush them, eating one of the Seagulls. The Penguins placed themselves between the beasts at the read and the terrified Seagulls, frozen after seeing their comrade eaten over their own schemes.

The Penguins and their Dino friends fight off the beasts with tooth & claw, with drones & bones. The seagulls learned their lesson and behaved the rest of the way, but Mother and Black Beak took the rear guard to protect the pack, ensuring they would try nothing. If they did, Mother would eat them in one bite. And on they journeyed through pristine trails...
